Street Fighter IV PC: Turbo Hyper Fighting Fight Pad Bundle II X Edition

Street Fighter IV PC: Turbo Hyper Fighting Fight Pad Bundle II X Edition

In what I’m sure is a glass half-full/half-empty social experiment from Capcom, the Osaka-based publisher has announced that they will be packing in a free MadCatz Fight Pad—MSRP $34.99—with all copies of the PC port of Street Fighter IV (or alternatively, bundling the game at $25 with the Fight Pad). The game will be sold at the standard Next-Gen(TM) price of $59.99, but if you haven’t jumped on the console versions of Street Fighter IV yet, this is a fantastic value. All the Games for Windows bells and whistles plus the fact that the fight pad will most likely work on your PlayStation 3 is just icing on the cake.

No word yet if this bundle will be as hard-to-find as the fight pads already are, but then again, PC games in brick-and-mortar shelves are already a rarity anyways. Street Fighter IV will also be available on Steam, which, if you’re already part of the superior PC gaming master race, you already should have access to.
