Oonst Oonst x Infinity: Armin Van Buuren Lands a Wii Game

Oonst Oonst x Infinity: Armin Van Buuren Lands a Wii Game

With all the drama surrounding Activision’s DJ Hero and7 Studios’ Scratch: The Ultimate DJ, the mere novelty of some big-name trance DJ scoring himself his own videogame flew over everyone’s radar. According to Foreign Media Games, Mr. Van Buuren is the “best DJ in the world,” something I, in all my blissful ignorance as a scruffy unhip metalhead, will have to take their word for.

In The Mix will be a joint venture between Armada Music, Cloud 9 Music and Foreign Media Games. “The game will contain many of Armin van Buuren’s music masters and features artists he often works with. To make the experience complete, Armin will also include unique, never before released material in the Wii game. Players can use the available effects, loops and individual parts to mix music. Wii functionality will be optimally utilised to maximise the music mixing experience.”

Not much to say on the game right now, other that it’s a Wii exclusive and will be out this Fall.
