World of Warcraft Patch 3.1.2 now LIVE!
While there are very expected changes coming from the new patch (i.e. modifications in skills, mounts in the Argent Tournament having new looks, and other changes that can be seen via WoW’s official website), one major change that was truly expected and worthy of being noted is the inclusion of the much-anticipated Equipment Manager.
In a nutshell, much like the Dual-Talent Specialization introduced in patch 3.10, the Equipment Manager allows characters to switch different kinds of equipment combinations and equip them quickly depending on the situation. Very useful indeed for classes like Paladins and Druids, who are versed in tanking, healing, and DPS (damage per second), or for classes like Warriors and Death Knights, who can quickly switch to tanking and DPS gear depending on the need of a party or raid group. PvE and PvP gear can easily be switched as well if need be, depending if there are opposing Alliance or Horde members wanting to gank you when you least expect it, just for the heck of it.
Note that this particular change should have been introduced at the same time Patch 3.10 was released, but according to the official World of Warcraft website, some issues regarding this new option had to be resolved before it could be launched. This latest addition is definitely a sigh of relief for WoW enthusiasts all over the world.
