Video of the Day: Final Atomic Buster… in real life!

Submitted by lancetanong on 06/01/2009 – 9:52 am2 Comments

You know, after playing tons of fighting games over the years, some of you might think that there are moves that you can easily imitate, and did so successfully. Then there are some moves one couldn’t possibly pull off in real life. Perhaps it’s because of the laws of physics and gravity that we cannot pull it off in this reality? Maybe…

Then came Kenny Omega.

This vid came from the Dramatic Dream Team (or DDT) promotion, a Japanese professional wrestling company aimed to be more of an extremely comedic alternative to the usual “Strong Style”-inspired wrestling brought about by the likes of New Japan Pro Wrestling (founded by Antonio Inoki, MMA and Japanese Pro Wrestling legend, not to mention the same man that helped elevate one Lyoto Machida into becoming the undefeated UFC Light Heavyweight Champion that he is today). They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Oh, how true it is. Thank you, Kenny, for proving that you CAN defy physics… to some extent.

Mind you, this is the same guy who made the move below one of his finishers. Does the name need to be mentioned at all?
