Check Out These Sweet Left 4 Dead 2 Screenshots
“It looks just like the first Left 4 Dead?” Of course not, you silly billy! It’s just… a bit similar, that’s all! Totally couldn’t have been released as an expansion pack! All new content! All new characters! All new… okay, I’m over it. Feel free to gawk at the newest screens released from Valve’s E3 press kit.
Left 4 Dead 2 is set at roughly the same time as the original – just after the outbreak that turned most of the population into various zombie mutants. Players assume the role of 4 new “Survivors,” each with their own personality and new dialog. The game leads these “Survivors” through the southeastern region of the US – from Savannah, Georgia thru the bayou country, and climaxing in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
Left 4 Dead 2 will be out November 17, 2009 for the Xbox 360 and PC. PS3 owners, suck it up and buy a halfway-decent PC — the Source engine scales up real nice anyway.
