Video of the Day: The (Possible) Knockout of the Year!

Submitted by lancetanong on 08/04/2009 – 2:15 pm3 Comments

Here’s the funny thing about Mixed Martial Arts: on a more or less basis, the fight does not last long the way fight fans want and expect. But at the very least, if the knockout is done quickly and handily, it should at least make an impression towards the fans and leave them with something to talk about.

The year 2009 saw some knockout moments in any MMA organization, the latest being UFC 100’s total shutout of Michael Bisping by PRIDE legend Dan Henderson. Surely, after having seen that, there couldn’t be any other knockout this year that could top that, given Bisping’s history with Henderson, right?

That is until this clip came showing on the interwebs. Some time ago, me and my friends were talking about whether you could actually do moves from Tekken in real life, and even go as far as wondering whether we could actually juggle someone in a fight. While the latter may not hold true, the former certainly did. Guess which move he used that is recognizable by a certain Tekken character (or characters)?

The ending’s just as awesome.
